done, now and later
Most to-do lists ask you to organize your whole life.
palilili doesn't.
Instead, it asks a simpler question:
What matters now?
done
Done is for what no longer needs your attention.
Not because it is forgotten, but because it is finished.
There is nothing left to think about.
now
Now is intentionally small.
It is not every task you could do.
It is only the few tasks you are willing to carry today.
A shorter list is easier to trust.
later
Later is not a backlog.
It is not a storage room for hundreds of someday tasks.
It is simply permission to say:
Not today.
When tomorrow arrives, Later quietly becomes Now again.
You decide again.
organize attention, not work
The three lists are not about organizing work.
They are about organizing attention.
Attention is limited.
Your task list should respect that.
Move tasks freely.
A swipe is enough.
Priorities change.
Life changes.
Your list should change just as easily.
nothing more
When a task is finished, let it become Done.
When it matters, keep it in Now.
When it can wait, move it to Later.
Nothing more.
Nothing less.
A calm task list isn't the one with the most features.
It's the one that helps you notice what matters now.
A task list should not become another task. Done. Now. Later. That's enough.
